Baugh, Richardson notch half centuries

The first trial match to select Jamaica’s squad for the upcoming four-day regional tournament in January of next year ended in a draw as Tamar Lambert’s XI were dismissed in their second innings for 241.

In their first innings, Lambert’s XI had made a huge 462 before David Bernard Jr’s XI replied strongly with 432 in their first knock.

Lambert’s XI started yesterday’s fourth and final day on 20 for one, but lost wickets regularly to be reduced to a precarious 137 for eight.

Carlton Baugh Jr then made a resolute 84 inclusive of 12 fours and two sixes and Andrew Richardson blasted seven sixes in his 59 to share in a 102-run stand for the ninth wicket…
