Ireland to take on Jamaica ahead of T20 WC

Cricket Ireland have confirmed a series against Jamaica in April, ahead of the ICC World Twenty20 Championship. The series against Jamaica includes the Irish challenging the regional powerhouse in a three-day, 50-over and 20/20 contest.

Closer ties between Cricket Ireland and Jamaica will also see efforts to link cricket to sport tourism, targeting national and top teams from Ireland and Jamaica to participate in tours each year, which would include a grand cricket event scheduled for St Patrick’s Day in Jamaica each year.
