New West Indies selector Courtney Browne has revealed that he has quit as chairman of the Barbados selection panel after a two-year stint.

In so doing, Browne, Barbados’ most successful first-class captain and a former West Indies wicket-keeper/batsman, lashed out at a couple reporters, who had publicly claimed there was a conflict of interest when he was appointed as a West Indies selector on August 1.
