Jamaican and West Indies fast bowler Jerome Taylor says he should be back at full tilt in training within the next few days after slightly hurting his hamstring on Wednesday at Chedwin Park.

The incident happened during the first trial match to select Jamaica’s team for next month’s second annual Caribbean twenty20 tournament.

Taylor, who was competing in his second competitive match since aggravating a back injury during the ICC World Twenty20 Tournament in May, felt a twitch of his hamstring muscle during his second over and left field.

“It’s not really a strain, just a mild cramp and I will be ok within the next three to four days. The coaches just took precaution because of my history with injuries,” said Taylor.
