Sunil Narine’s Kolkata Knight Riders continued their impressive run, picking up a hard-fought win over the defending champions Chennai Super Kings, the team of Dwayne Bravo, with an all-round performance that included a disciplined effort with the ball and another Gautam Gambhir-anchored batting display.

Off-spinner Narine took one for 24 as Chennai were limited to 139 for five in their allotted 20 overs, Bravo making just 12. In reply, Kolkata got to their target with two balls to spare.
