December 1975 saw Clive Lloyd and his West Indies roll into town just before they launched into their mesmerising era of world domination.Although Australia easily won the series, they got trounced by an innings and 87 runs on the back of a swashbuckling innings from Roy Fredericks.
West Indies fast bowler Curtly Ambrose has struck fear into the minds of many a batsman, and on the fast and bouncy WACA wicket in early 1993, set up a series win in the fifth and final Test to claim the coveted Frank Worrell Trophy. In Australia's first innings, in which they were bundled out for just 119, Ambrose snared 7-25 off only 18 overs. Fellow superstar West Indians Courtney Walsh and Ian Bishop were restricted to onlookers as Ambrose ripped through the home side.
David Boon, Mark Waugh, Allan Border, Damien Martyn and Ian Healy were some of his victims.
