MemberWhat people forget is that when Australia were in the doldrums we toured their consistently to noost their revenues and when they dominated apart from their unsportsmanlike ignorance they attempted to be sanctimonious about all sorts of things.
In normal circumstance I think divisions wors well as it does in the English County league but World cricket have far too few competitors for this to work well.
The teams that would be in the lower tier are perhaps the ones who need the extra revenues from visiting say England who is actually the best attended nation. Watching NZ v Pakistan, what a fantastic performance from teh Pakistanis, but played to one man and his dog.
Even in mighty India Test matches are not as well attended as they used to be in preference for the ODI or T20. Look how well attended the T20 between the Saffers and India was.
One should not be too averse contemplating changes to the game and its structure as a lot of innovation has come from the likes of Australia and India but can you imagine the impact on the finances of Boards when you have a league of Windies, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe (when they come back) etc...

You type too much shyte. Just make one point and dont post lectures.
Yes WI played a part in Aus getting to the top but it was not like the Aussies were the only ones benefiting. WI was getting money from the tours.
The perfect answer to the Aussie's 2-Tier stands is to beat them down to the second tier. That is the case right now.
Cricket is a business and we can't rely on sentimentalism to heavily influence team's decisions.
