More West Indies Cricket News, Less Chat.
Following the report on Monday in Trinidad & Tobago’s Newsday newspaper singling out Kevon Cooper and Sunil Narine as being reported by umpires for suspect bowling actions the Guyanese based Kaieteur News is reporting that nine bowlers in total were reported from across the region.

Good to pick up early but not sure why only Narine and Cooper have been publicly named.
My view is that if the WICB have picked up reports about suspect actions they should keep confidential until they have established the correctness of the charge as I assume these players will not be banned until such time they are proven to be chucking.
Therefore pointless naming anyone as they will now be viewed in a certain way. The WICB could have said they are being proactive in identifying suspect actions and this is what we will do about it when such cases come to us, from the recent tournament we have had reports of nine suspect actions. I see no mileage in naming them.

It would also appear that due process was not followed as the T&T Manager, Omar Khan, was not aware a complaint was made.

Cooper and spinner Sunil Narine were both reported by umpires for suspect actions and TTCB chairman of selectors Dudnath Ramkessoon confirmed that both were left out of the national four-day team to protect them from further psychological damage.

also taking that the only info that was given said "A source close to the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB)..."
citing now names, could leave alot of doubt

Personally I think Cooper is on the cusp but did not think Narine had a problem.
I do not think this is being handled well and I do not understand the processes in place to deal with such matters so in the meantime these two youngsters are out in the cold.
So what is being done?

the WICB hasnt said that u have to omit any players
you just seem hellbent on disagreeing with all the WICB has to do
they already said that the HPC can be used to help the players, so i dont see where anyone is being left in the cold

WICB administer Cricket in the region and by virtue of that fact decisions are made through this venue. The report by the Umpire did not go to any local Board but to the WICB. Is this correct or not?
Therefore the WICB like the BCCI, ECB, ACB would advise the local Board on the actions to take. Do you agree or not?
Ok you tell me what actions are planned for these players? Atre these players banned until their action is verified or remedied?
One thing you are right about is my view of the WICB. Too much n epotism and bias. President, CEO and Captain Lucian, Manager Antiguan, Events Officer??? Also in Hunte's tenure there has been so much disruption, disputes and fight all won by WIPA who have taken advantage of their lack of organisation and lack of proper proactive systems and processes. The WICB is reactive and not proactive enough. I believe the wrong people run the WICB. You look around the Caribbean and it is clear who the Industrialists and business successes are and these are the people who should be heavily involved in running the Commercial aspects of the WICB and NOT Diplomats, who fails in Diplomacy, and other academics.
The WICB is ineffective and until such time they demonstrate good, consistent and above board practices, my view will not change.

the WICB will did not advise the other boards on what to do if that was the case then one of the suspected players gilford moore (one of the suspected 9) would not be playing
that was on the action of the TTCB
no where was it indicated that the WICB told them what to do, that is ur speculation
i already told you wats going to happen, they're gona be tested at the hpc
if not they might go to AUS or ENG

Where did the report go to from the umpires?
You clearly feel what you are saying is fact so explain what happened to the report sent by the umpires.
Can you also guide me to the statements that the players under question will go to the HPC or either of England and Australia as I am sure you are not speculating.
