@WICRICNEWS
I would hope that Shiv scores at least 3 tons this series and if the weight of runs is still inadequate to see his continued tenure then so be it.
This WICB and others ikn the past have been very disrespectful and inconsiderate to players who have given long service to West Indies Cricket and I think of the players who have had poor departures like Kallicharan, Haynes and Greenidge.
There comes a time when all sportsmen have to move on and if Tiger does not perform then his time, sadly, has arrived. I would like to think the WICB will utilise Shiv in some capacity although present and past WICBs have not done this effectively.
It is a shame, I will miss the first home series for many, many years.
Best of luch Tiger. Go for it carpe diem.
59.3 Sharma to Sammy, OUT, Is there reverse? Ishant his the ball this time after seeing the previous ball jag back in, and bowls it real full, and the ball swings in. And yes, towards the shiny side. Sammy is loose, and the ball goes through the gate. Real smart thinking from Ishant. And with that wicket, Shiv has seen more wickets fall at the other end than any other batsman in the worldDJG Sammy b Sharma 1 (11b 0x4 0x6) SR: 9.09
That last part is sad!
