Cricket West Indies has announced today the match schedule for the England Lions Tour of the Caribbean next February.

The Lions, the official name of the England A-Team, will face their regional counterparts in a series of three “Tests” and three One-day matches – to be played between the islands of Jamaica and Antigua.

In respect of the captioned matter, the Player, Nicholas Pooran, was suspended by CWI, in relation to a decision taken by the Player not to play in the Professional Cricket League at the start of the 2016-2017 domestic season, although he was selected by a domestic franchise team. Host, West Indies, have named their thirteen man squad to face England in a three-match ODI series, beginning on Friday March 3rd, at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. The squad sees a return to international cricket for Kieran Powell and Jason Mohammed, with Alzarri Joseph being called up once again, after being forced to withdraw from the last ODI squad, due to personal reasons. Shane Dowrich, Johnson Charles, Miguel Cummins and Sulieman Benn have all been dropped from squad to Zimbabwe, last year.
